About IndiTreat

IndiTreat aims at developing a micro- and nanotechnology based system that can test all available combinations of chemotherapeutic compounds on each patient’s cancer cells to find the most effective drug combinations and thereby provide an individualized treatment. Micro- and nanotechnology researchers, medical doctors, and a private company collaborate to develop the system and demonstrate its use for efficient treatment of colorectal cancer, the most commonly diagnosed cancer type in the European Union.

The project with a total budget of 21.0 MDKK is headed by DTU Nanotech. The Danish Council for Strategic Research supports the activities by 16.4 MDKK over the next 4 years.
